PTO General Assembly 2010

 

The final PTO General Assembly of the year will be held the evening of May 20.  We are currently looking at a couple of options for an offsite venue.  The venue will be close to the Churchill campus and Adventure Kids will be providing childcare discounts for parents that can attend.  Please join other DIS parents in celebrating another successful school year with the first round of appetizers and drinks provided by the PTO.  We will be voting on the PTO budget for next year and we will hold elections for 2010/2011 PTO Board positions.  If you are interested in running for a Board positions, please contact Charlie Summers at Charles.summers@archon.com

Are You Eligible to Vote for the May 21st General Election?

PTO membership has been extended to all DIS parents and employees of Dallas International School. All DIS Parents and Staff are automatic members unless declared otherwise to the PTO board.

                  The General Election for the 2009-2010 PTO Board positions will be held May 20th at the PTO General Assembly meeting at 7pm at Churchill campus .  The procedure will be to hand each adult a ballot when they sign in for the meeting. The list we be extracted from the RenWeb directory.  If you would like to vote, your name must appear on that list.  Please check the RenWeb directory list and if your name is not there, you must contact Sheila Kelly ASAP, to add your name.  We encourage each adult to verify that their names are listed. This will be each voter’s responsibility.

              Applications will not be accepted on the floor of the General Election Assembly unless a position is without candidates.  Each candidate will have a chance to speak for a few minues to introduce themselves.
