The final PTO General Assembly of the year will be held the evening of May 20.  We are currently looking at a couple of options for an offsite venue.  The venue will be close to the Churchill campus and Adventure Kids will be providing childcare discounts for parents that can attend.  Please join other DIS parents in celebrating another successful school year with the first round of appetizers and drinks provided by the PTO.  We will be voting on the PTO budget for next year and we will hold elections for 2010/2011 PTO Board positions.  If you are interested in running for a Board positions, please contact Charlie Summers at Charles.summers@archon.com

MOVIE NIGHT
We made reservations at Studio Movie Grill to see Degas and the Dancer.  Please come watch this great movie! It will be in French with English subtitles.
Synopsis: The story about the friendship between a young ballerina and the famed artist Edgar Degas, and the creativity they inspire in each other.  Winner of the Humanitas Prize, Endorsed by Kids First!
Date: Thursday, October 8th
Time: 6:15pm
Cost: $5 children / $8 adults

Please contact Charlie Summers at DIScarnival2009@gmail.com  for prices/packages and to pre-order your admission wristbands and tickets. There will be a discount on ride/game tickets if purchased in advance.  This is the last week to purchase the Ultimate Carnival Package as it requires a t-shirt pre-order. You will still be able to purchase wristbands and tickets on the day of the carnival or by emailing Charlie at the above address.
 
Carnival T-shirts
This week only!!!!  The t-shirt design is on display in reception.  Our order will be submitted to the screen printer this Friday evening so get your sizes to us by the end of the day Friday, September 25.  Order forms are in reception near the shirt display or contact DIScarnival2009@gmail.com to submit your order.   Let us know your size so you don't miss out on a great t-shirt.  The shirts can be worn to school by students on spirit day each month.
