Dallas International School Honors UT Dallas President
(Dallas, Texas) -- Dallas International School (DIS) hosted its Gala Auction on Saturday, March 15 at the World Trade Center, where Dr. David Daniel, president of the University of Texas at Dallas, received the school’s Prix d’Amitié for his outstanding efforts in furthering the education at DIS via a partnership with the University of Texas at Dallas which includes locating the high school on the university campus next year. The award was presented by Robert Lavie, the honorary consul of France, and Jean- Pierre Bayle, former French senator and the director- general of Mission Laïque Française, DIS’s parent organization, based in Paris, France.
